TMC Ashram - a home away from home

Driven by the ethos to make the cancer patients feel at home, TMC is building a TMC Ashram which would serve as a retreat for patients and their families.
Built on the idea of Hope Lodge in the US run by American Cancer Society, this facility will provide free comfortable accommodation to attendants of out-station in-patients and low dependency outpatients.
Patients and their families look for ways to end their anguish and anxiety of dealing with Cancer. Many of whom travel long distances away from the everyday support system seeking affordable and good healthcare facilities. We empathise and understand their needs. We strive to give solace to patients and families by providing an environment that is comforting, reassuring and effortless. The TMC Ashram has been designed and created to provide refuge away from home.
This TMC Ashram is a TMC initiative that will ease the situation with an economical, clean, hygienic and homely place for the patient and patient attendant to stay during the treatment. Medical help will be on call from the hospital. Being situated in the hospital's vicinity, an ambulance will be available on call.
